Imagine. Design. Compete.
The CHIPUBLIB.ORG Design Contest returns for a second year. From April 5 – May 16, showcase your visual creativity through a library-inspired poster design using the URL “chipublib.org”.

30 Finalists will move on to a Judging Night Event held on June 3, 2010, in the Winter Garden of the Harold Washington Library Center in downtown Chicago where the Grand Prize Winner will be revealed.

Judges.
Grand Prize will be determined by a panel of judges including Chicago Library Commissioner Mary Dempsey, AIGA Chicago Representative Katherine Walker, and Chad Kouri of The Post Family.

Prizes.
At stake is the opportunity to have your winning design showcased around Chicago as a feature in the Chicago Public Library’s public awareness campaign along with a professionally framed print of your design courtesy of Peterson Picture Co.

But wait … there’s more.
Beginning 5/17/10 and ending 5/23/10, vote for your favorite design on the CHIPUBLIB.ORG Design Contest set located at www.flickr.com/photos/notwhatyouthink/. The People’s Choice Award Winner will receive a printed, framed poster of their work.

Good Luck!
